The outpatient spa treatment, often also referred to as \u201coutpatient preventive care\u201d (\u00a723 and 24 SGB V), is a measure that is taken up by insured persons for whom intensive inpatient rehabilitation is not yet necessary, but for whom a complex therapy program over three weeks is beneficial to their health. Only a few years ago, outpatient and inpatient preventive services were firmly anchored in the law books as mandatory benefits.<\/span><\/p>

The outpatient prevention and rehabilitation measure requires an approved spa application from your health insurance company. You will receive a so-called spa doctor’s certificate for consultation with a spa doctor at the spa resort and a spa check. On presentation of this cost coverage, we can usually settle the costs for the remedies directly with your health insurance company. However, you will still have to pay your own contribution on site. As a voluntary benefit from a statutory health insurance company, a subsidy for accommodation\/meals is possible.
